WP1 – Coordination

Work Package 1 oversees the proper implementation of the action, serving as the main intermediary between the beneficiaries and the granting authority. It is responsible for collecting, verifying, and forwarding all required documents and reports, ensuring their accuracy and completeness. Additionally, it submits deliverables and reports to the granting authority and guarantees that all payments are distributed to beneficiaries promptly and without unjustified delay.


The main tasks of the Coordination work package is to

  • Monitor that the action is implemented properly;
  • Act as the intermediary for all communications between the beneficiaries and the granting authority, unless the MGA specifies otherwise;
  • Request and review any documents or information required by the granting authority and verify their completeness and correctness before passing them on to the granting authority;
  • Submit the deliverables and reports to the granting authority;
  • Ensure that all payments are made to the other beneficiaries without unjustified delay.

WP2 – Communication and dissemination

Work Package 2 aims to establish a secure and effective communication framework for addressing the sensitive topic of medical stockpiling. It fosters collaboration among diverse members by sharing information, building networks, and serving as a central point of connection to support other work packages. Additionally, it ensures the high-quality dissemination of results, maintaining stakeholder engagement and interest throughout the project.

WP3 – Evaluation

Work Package 3 focuses on evaluation activities to ensure that the Joint Action is implemented as planned and achieves its objectives. Its evaluation strategy is designed to align with the needs and activities of the other work packages, particularly the core ones.

  • T3.2 Follow-up actual resource use compared to planned resource use
  • T3.3 Follow-up completion of milestones and deliverables compared to the work plan, including training and

WP4 – Sustainability 

The objective of Work Package 4 is to incorporate good practices of stockpiling of MCM into national policies, including improved cooperation mechanism between EU Member states.

WP5 – Training

Work Package 5 aims to increase skills of national experts in good practices of stockpiling of MCM. In addition, the work package will establish a long-term form of cooperation based on an expanding body of theoretical and practical knowledge, both in breadth and depth that is available to members on an ongoing basis.
