Reviewing progress across work packages
The meeting opened with dedicated working sessions for WP7 and WP3 partners, focusing on ongoing activities, key achievements, challenges and upcoming milestones.
During the WP7 session, task leaders reviewed progress under Tasks 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3, including work on definitions and the development of the project framework. The session concluded with a forward-looking discussion on priorities and next steps for the work package.
WP3 activities were discussed within the framework of the Evaluation Workshop, where participants received updates on ongoing work and exchanged experiences. The discussions provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen coordination and foster a shared understanding of progress across the partnership.
The day concluded with a social dinner, offering participants an opportunity to continue discussions and strengthen connections in an informal setting.
Building synergies for the next phase
A key focus of the meeting was strengthening collaboration across work packages and ensuring alignment as the project moves forward. Partners discussed JA Stockpile scenarios, cross-work package coordination and opportunities to build stronger synergies between different strands of work.
Participants also looked ahead to future activities and deliverables, exploring how findings from across the project can be brought together to support stronger MCM stockpiling capacities across Europe.
With much of the project's first phase dedicated to gathering information, mapping current practices and developing a comprehensive understanding of the European MCM stockpiling landscape, the focus is now increasingly shifting towards connecting the pieces, identifying key findings and developing practical recommendations.
Building on the project's foundations
The Vienna meeting reinforced collaboration across the JA Stockpile partnership and provided an important opportunity to exchange knowledge, reflect on progress and prepare for the work ahead.
As the project enters its next phase, partners will continue working together to build on the knowledge and insights generated so far and support continued alignment across the consortium.
The consortium extends its thanks to AGES for hosting the meeting and providing an excellent environment for productive discussions, knowledge exchange and collaboration.
